Able Esports is proud to announce its most recent partnership with ES1, the first French-language channel exclusively dedicated to esports, for the broadcast of its King of the Spike series of Valorant tournaments. Following its recent partnership with GINX Esports TV Canada, Able Esports continues to expand its list of broadcast partners by joining forces with the ES1 for the broadcast of the best moments of its monthly series of Valorant tournaments entitled the King of the Spike. The first such official broadcast on ES1’s network, which boasts over 1 million monthly viewers in France and is available in over 20 countries, will be on May 14, 2021 at 10:30 PM EST. The broadcast will feature the best moments from the King of the Spike tournament set to take place on May 7, 2021, featuring 32 North American teams.
For Nicolas Gicquel, Program Director at ES1, “this new partnership is part of the channel’s desire to offer content that is even more adapted to some of its strategic broadcasting areas. Allied to the professionalism of Able Esports, we are proud to showcase Quebec’s expertise in esports production and talent in a rapidly growing game title. ”
Emil Vanjaka, VP Business Development for Able Esports commented: “We are thrilled to be working with such a renowned broadcast partner. ES1 is a world leader in the esports market, and we look forward to working with them to bring our French content to more viewers and to continue to elevate esports in the province of Quebec and beyond.”
The esports industry is in full swing and continues its rapid growth worldwide, despite the ongoing pandemic, as tournaments and events have continued to thrive online. This has created an opportunity to create and broadcast more high-quality French-language content and events on the world stage, which will serve to further grow the esports market in the province of Quebec and well beyond that.
